Rush for one thing is a Steeler fan, which does not make him bad. He also says Vinny T. will fail badly tonight. I think Cris Berman was embarrased by Limbaugh's comments.

heheh... I don't think he felt like being challenged by a conservative radio blow-hole.

I actually think Rush being on NFL Countdown is going to work well. Most of these pre-game shows are entertainment and opinion-driven shows. Whether you agree with him or not (I admit that I do more often than not), no one is more opinionated than El Rushbo. Plus, even if he fails, he has a radio show with 22 million listeners to go back to and a $285 million contract to boot.

Limbaugh may be a blowhole at times, but so is Berman.

At first I was heckling him becasue he was obviously reading from a teleprompter and stuttered a few of times, but eventually, yeah, I thought the "Rush Challenge" was funny and entertaining. Young and Irvin were hamming it up and Limbaugh was brining the heat, he made some good points about the Jets and Vinny.

The only things that would be worry me is that Berman and Rush won't be able to stand each other and it is pretty much Berman's show. If anyone on that set has a bigger ego than Rush, it's Berman. I think he will get along with the ex-players and other analysts (i.e. Chris Mortensen, etc).
